Job Description:

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a highly qualified, experienced Regional Sales Director to join our Beef Foodservice sales team, serving the Eastern Region.This will be a remote role. Candidate will ideally be based within the Eastern Region territory.Responsibilities:

  • Leads Sales team in executing strategies/priorities of both Beef Divisions, while partnering with other JBS BU's, when applicable
  • Responsible for development of region KPI's and delivery of revenue/margin for both Beef Divisions
  • Oversee the strategic development and tactical management of sales to leading broadline food service distributors, with responsibility for account metrics including account volume, margin, and service levels
  • Responsible for profitably growing the JBS food service customer base within an assigned geographic market by aligning current and potential new customers with our product lines and services.
  • Negotiate product/program pricing and availability with key customers, leading the management of the process and completion of customer RFP's.
  • Manage the development and launch of both Exclusive and Manufacturers Brand programs serving as the conduit between the customer and internal teams to include pricing, program management, scheduling, FSQA and transportation.
  • Research and prospect new accounts within the assigned territory establishing relationships with customers purchasing, category managers, merchandisers, and culinary teams
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of all food service customer product allowances within the region
  • Manage the Eastern Region sales personnel consisting of the Sr. Account Executives and Key Account Managers and be responsible for talent acquisition, development, and performance
  • Attend industry events to gain knowledge of current and upcoming trends, affectively develop customer specific strategies to capitalize on emerging trends
  • Other duties as assignedQualifications:
    • College degree in Agriculture, Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
    • 5+ years' experience in protein sales, preferably beef or beef merchandising
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Outstanding presentation skills
    • Good computer skills especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word programs.
    • Broadline Distribution and National Account management skills
    • Excellent people and managing skills
    • Willingness to travel
    • Must be based in the Eastern region territory and preferably near a major metropolitan city.
