We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently seeking a Productivity Manager at our site in Charleston, TN. What you will do: The Productivity Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of productivity projects to reduce costs and improve business profitability. The Productivity Manager leads projects as well as coaches other project leaders on the implementation of operational improvements. This role also tracks, updates, and monitors projects and operational Key Performance Indicators. Development and implementation of standard productivity projects
Lead or participate in special projects
Facilitate lean six sigma training, mentor candidates, and certify green and yellow belt candidates
Run employee productivity suggestion system
Update productivity databases, quarterly reporting to management, and prepare for annual Wacker Operating Systems conference What we need from you: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or similarly related field
7+ years' relevant experience
LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required, Master Black Belt certification is preferred
Willingness to travel up to 15% of time
Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
Communication and strong interpersonal skills to effectively influence and manage complex interfaces between organizational groups
Analytical and financial analysis skills to support data driven decision making related to process optimization along with technical competency in the areas of safety and environmental compliance
Demonstrate technical competency in the areas of safety, quality, and process improvement
Excellent project- and time management skills, communication, and teamwork skills
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure; demonstrate a can-do attitude
Knowledge of silicone chemistry, corresponding chemical engineering, and production methods background
Experience and knowledge of ERP system principles and tools (MS Office, SharePoint, SAP R/3 and B.O.)
