FireSeeds is a recruiting firm partnered with Chick-fil-A. You are applying to the Business Director--position--with Chick-fil-A Summerville and Goose Creek--in the Charleston area.-- Located 30 minutes from downtown Charleston, SC, Chick-fil-A of Summerville and Chick-fil-A of Goose Creek are owned and operated by Chris Walker, who has been a successful Chick-fil-A Operator for 21 years. Both stores have grown tremendously in volume and team size since the Summerville location opened 16 years ago and the Goose Creek location opened 11 years ago. Over the next three years, the sales volume between the two stores is projected to double and a third store will open. Chris has a deep desire to coach and develop others, including his current staff of 300. In fact, through his efforts to encourage and grow his team, he has produced eight fellow Operators and three corporate staff members within the last ten years. Chris's team's desire is for their employees' time at work to be so edifying and valuable that it exceeds the monetary value of what is earned in their pay. Job Description Chick-fil-A of Summerville ($10 million) and/or Chick-fil-A of Goose Creek ($8 million) are seeking a Business Director who will serve on the senior leadership team and provide operational oversight and strong leadership to three Operations Directors and a team of 80-120 team leaders and team members. The Business Director will report to and be intentionally developed by the executive team: the Operating Partner, the Executive Partner, and the Operator. The Business Director will spend their time in the restaurant working on and overseeing all areas of daily business operations including leading top-level leaders, taking ownership over metrics, coaching and encouraging the team, and thinking with growth in mind. This leader must be able to think like an owner as he/she oversees key performance metrics, enhances the overall customer experience, and develops a leadership pipeline to create capacity for future growth. After approximately 4 years of success in the Business Director role, the Business Director will have the opportunity to apply directly to become an Owner/Operator of their own Chick-fil-A franchise or to pursue a position at the Chick-fil-A Support Center (corporate office). Manage a team of 3 Operations Directors and 80-120 team leaders and team members Manage overall performance: ensure goals are met and analyze costs (food, labor, etc.) to--improve margins Ensure operational excellence and quality Mentor, coach, and build relationships with the team while enhancing and protecting the--culture of feedback and professional growth Develop a strong leadership pipeline to create capacity for future growth Demonstrate impeccable stewardship of resources Perform managerial tasks, including inventory, ordering, and weekly scheduling Meet with Executive Team and Operator for development Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in leadership or management
• History of developing other leaders
• Possesses high EQ and extreme self awareness
• Knowledge of general business insights and practices and displays financial acumen--
