Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a PCBA Soldering Technician to join our team that produce a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA’s). Primary Responsibilities This position involves hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole components on low, medium and high density printed circuit boards (PCBs) Soldering/working under a microscope Applicants must be able to perform rework of various electronic packages including resistors, capacitors, through-hole parts Work to achieve day-to-day objectives and have significant impact on the work output. Work independently under limited supervision Work in team environment and interacting with different functions, project teams and productions teams. Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the area. Basic Qualifications High School diploma/GED and less than 3-5 years of prior relevant work experience Experience soldering under a microscope Ability to solder surface mount and through-hole components Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions. Must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Current or prior certification in IPC-A-610 Current or prior certification in J-STD-001 If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling. Pay Range: Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
