engineer to assume a key role within the System Power, Analog and
Controls Department.Do you enjoy power converter design?Do

- -Design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate,
and test power conversion circuitry potentially utilizing any
standard non-isolated power conversion topologies (buck, boost,
buck-boost) including modules and discrete designs
- Guide Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) personnel through
PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation
- Perform design work within the bounds of a given schedule
- Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and
technical staff -Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
(STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in
design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with linear
converters
- Experience with any of the following non-isolated converter
topologies: - buck, boost, and/ or buck-boost
- Experience with design, analysis, and test with analog
electronic design and analysis, including FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp
circuits
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued
security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as
only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security
clearanceQualifications We Prefer
- Basic understanding of commonly used power conversion concepts,
components, and techniques and/or motor drive control schemes
- Lab experience specific to power electronics and/or controls
electronics
- Experience with use of software tools for electrical circuit
simulation and/or printed circuit board layout -such as Mentor
Graphics DxDesigner, and/or Hyperlynx, SIMPLIS, Saber and/or
analysis tool Mathcad & LTspice
- Ability to document designs and circuit performance
verification
- Experience with performing circuit card assembly-level power
architecture trades, and/or with system-level power architecture
trades, including power converter specification development
experience
- Design, analysis, and/or test experience with any of the
following isolated converter topologies: - flyback, half-bridge,

information: The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000
USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
