Job TitleSr Industrial EngineerPosition OverviewOriginate, develop, and/or implement innovative or revised methods, procedures, layouts, and processes designed to reduce required labor, optimize, or eliminate material/packaging costs and minimize negative operating variances.Develop metrics, use data to make effective decisions, prepare and distribute information on routine operations or projects.
Essential Duties:Provide innovative solutions for the optimization of required labor to receive or manage inventory and/or ship and deliver product
Project work and data analysis to aid in process improvement or
cost reduction.Data interpretation as related to efficiency, cost or volume decisions.Validating or developing standards for efficiency
assessment of distribution processes.Submitting and managing capital and expense projects.Develop savings calculations for cost reduction initiatives.Complete Time Studies and Work Measurement Studies as assigned.Performs special projects as requested.
Requirements:Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple multi-month complex
projects simultaneously.Demonstrate the ability to adapt to shifting prioritiesCommunicates, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels of the company in a clear and concise manner.Possess the ability to analyze complex data representing multiple product types and processes and make recommendations and decisions
based on results.Demonstrate understanding of financial performance metrics and tools (budget performance, product costing, etc...).Works in a team environment to maximize company resources.Demonstrate good organizational and time-management skills.Sets challenging goals and works diligently to achieve them.Possess computer and software knowledge for spreadsheets, database management, word processing, etc---Promote change as necessary in a continually improving organization; is enthusiastic and optimistic in the face of change.Knowledgeable of AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
and Windows10% travel required
