Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. Provide specialized instructional support as a Teacher
for a student who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a K-12 educational
setting. This contract position offers a focused schedule dedicated
to serving one student, enabling targeted and meaningful impact.
Location: Alpharetta, GA (within the Atlanta metropolitan area) Job
Type: Leave Contract Duration: March 17, 2026 May 22, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:20 AM 11:50 AM EST (strict
hours) Caseload: One student Key Responsibilities Deliver
specialized instruction tailored to the unique auditory and
communication needs of a Deaf/Hard of Hearing student. Collaborate
with parents, school staff, and support services to ensure
continuity and effectiveness of individualized education plans
(IEPs). Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to
maximize learning outcomes. Maintain accurate records and
participate in regular meetings related to student development.
Qualifications Active Georgia Department of Education certification
in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education. Experience working with Deaf and
Hard of Hearing students, preferably between 0-10 years. Ability to
maintain a strict, consistent schedule during designated hours.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively
with students, families, and school personnel. Benefits Opportunity
