Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
School Psychologist position is available in the Chattanooga, TN
area serving elementary students (Kindergarten through 5th grade)
in a contract role running from January 5, 2026, through May 21,
2026. This role supports multiple schools within the district, with
some minor travel required between locations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-5 students
- Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD)
meetings - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs) - Design and monitor behavior intervention plans - Manage
caseloads effectively while collaborating with educational staff
and families Qualifications and Experience: - Active Tennessee
Department of Education certification in School Psychology -
Experience working with elementary-aged students is essential -
Strong skills in conducting evaluations, IEP development, and
behavioral planning - Ability to work full-time at 37.5 hours per
week; part-time candidates will not be considered - Effective
communication and organizational skills with an aptitude for
teamwork - Willingness to commute between assigned school locations
