Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in
the Chattanooga area, this full-time contract position seeks
experienced professionals skilled in school psychology to support
elementary-aged students (K-5) across multiple schools within the
district. The role begins January 5, 2026, and continues through
May 21, 2026, providing essential psychological services for the
school year. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive
psychological evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
for special education planning - Develop and implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student
requirements - Design and monitor behavior intervention plans to
support positive student outcomes - Collaborate with educators,
administrators, and families to address student challenges - Manage
caseload within elementary school settings, with minor travel
required between assigned schools Qualifications: - Active
Tennessee Department of Education (TN DOE) certification in school
psychology - Commitment to a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per
week; part-time candidates not considered - Experience working with
elementary-level students (K-5) preferred - Strong understanding of
educational and behavioral assessment tools - Ability to handle
