Job Title: Facility Maintenance Coordinator Pay Grade: 6 Salary:
$60,588 Department: Facilities Reports to: Senior Facilities Asset
Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary: The Facility
Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for facilitating,
coordinating and providing oversight of maintenance services
performed on building operating systems and equipment as assigned
throughout the Central Passenger Terminal Complex. The Facility
Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all operations
and maintenance tasks are performed for building operating systems
and equipment in accordance with AATC policies, procedures and
processes. The Facility Maintenance Coordinator is the point of
contact for parties internal and external to AATC in addressing
facility maintenance issues with facility maintenance service
providers and outside contractors. Responsibilities: · Support
AATC’s Asset Management Policy by assisting with contingency
planning activities for proactive and project type work in areas of
facilities maintenance and operations. · Perform routine and
complex troubleshooting, along with the monitoring and supervision
of installation, repair, and maintenance work on building systems
and equipment. · Conduct periodic site inspections and evaluations,
reporting on results. · Ensure compliance with environmental
permits, government regulations, and corporate policies. · Perform
quality assurance of completed maintenance inspections and
corrective work by service providers and contractors. · Conduct
follow-up inspections to ensure corrective actions meet acceptance
requirements. · Document work performed and deficiencies identified
through a computerized maintenance management system. · Ensure
compliance with OSHA Safety requirements by service providers and
contractors. · Provide input for planning and development of the
annual department budget. · Assist in snow and ice clearing
operations and provide after-hours emergency coverage.
Qualifications and Requirements: · 4 to 6 years of documented
Facility Maintenance experience. · Associate or bachelor’s degree
in a related field is highly desirable. · OSHA 30 hour certified
(must obtain certification within 6 months). · Working knowledge of
laws, regulations, codes, and practices governing building system
maintenance and contract administration. · Familiarity with
mechanical trades testing devices and power tools. · Knowledge of
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and
Architectural/Structural service trade concepts and practices. ·
Familiarity with safety rules and compliance codes including NFPA,
NEC70A (electrical safety), NETA (electrical testing standards),
OSHA (workplace safety), ADA (standards for office and building to
be accessible), and EPA (pollution control) compliance codes. ·
Highly skilled in MS Office (Particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and
PowerPoint). · Able to work a flexible schedule including nights,
weekends, and holidays. · Must be able to pass requirements for
approval for an ATL badge with customs seal. This includes a
10-year background search by fingerprint analysis. Success
Characteristics: · Understands preventive maintenance and its role
in a comprehensive maintenance program. · Understands quality
management system and its role in a comprehensive maintenance
program. · Possesses understanding of buildings, building systems,
construction terminology, maintenance practices, methods,
procedures, roles, equipment, tools, · Excellent communication,
problem solving and interpersonal skills. · Demonstrated leadership
skills. · Team oriented, with the ability to build consensus and
effective relationships in a cohesive business environment. · Must
be goal oriented and drive towards service excellence. · Possess
knowledge of a variety of building maintenance policies/procedures
and comfortable with challenging/upholding building maintenance
policies/procedures. Preferred Experience and Qualifications: ·
Commercial MEP system design, installation, and life-cycle
maintenance experience. · Industrial Equipment Instrumentation &
Process Controls experience. · Facilities Management
Certifications, including Certified Facility Manager (CFM),
Facilities Management Professional (FMP), and Facilities Management
Certification (FMC) or Building Owners and Managers Association
(BOMA)/BOMI (sets standards for best practices in real estate
industry) certifications. T his position is in Atlanta, GA. Atlanta
