The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc ("nVent") and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: /n - Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. /n - Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays to adhere to NEC code and customer specifications. /n - Perform simple utility wire connections and understand electrical circuits. /n - Read blueprints and perform conduit threading. /n - Maintain and ensure tools are in good working condition. /n - Train and mentor employees on your shift. /n - Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe environment. /n - Prevent workplace injuries by following safety protocols and attending safety meetings. /n /n YOU HAVE: /n - High school diploma or GED preferred. /n - Vocational/technical degree in electricity or equivalent experience. /n - Master or Journeyman Electrician License preferred. /n /n /n - Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). /n - Experience with commercial and industrial equipment, MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives. /n /n WE HAVE: - A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day /n - nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
