Job Description Job Description firstPRO 360 is assisting our client in the Smyrna, GA area looking for a contract Staff Accountant. This contract with last for two to three months. They are looking to interview and get someone started immediately. In this role you will be responsible for the following duties: Provide accounting support and monthly field reporting for specified general ledger accounts Conduct thorough monthly reviews of specified revenue and expense accounts Analyze and research financial information pertaining to income statement and balance sheet Prepare journal entries related to monthly General Ledger activity for assigned reporting unit Complete assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and distribute secondary reports monthly as supporting documentation for financial statement review Research variances on financial statements to provide substantive explanations and generate adjusting journal entries as needed Respond to inquiries from Corporate, Sales, and Supply Chain management in relation to financial statement review and recurring financial analysis Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in A31-45ccounting, plus 3-4 years of related experience. Public accounting audit experience or corporate account experience require. A mix of both preferred Thorough understanding of GAAP Experience in Microsoft Office and proficient in advanced Excel functions Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Demonstrates planning, task organizing and execution skills Ability to perform well under pressure and in a high-volume and changing environment Demonstrates consistency, flexibility, and commitment to meet deadlines Excellent analytical skills and written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills and proven ability to work with both internal customers at all levels Ability to excel in a team environment Company Description firstPRO 360 is a professional recruitment firm that has been providing talented professionals with opportunities since 1986.
