In addition to hotel amenities, guests will enjoy two world-class golf courses, hiking trails, a par 3 short course and stunning mountain/top clubhouse, restaurant and pro shop.www.staycloudland.comPOSITION PROFILE:Interact with guests and ensure guests have a great experience when dining and meeting at the property. Be responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Expected to be attentive to guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed, at all times.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:Check serveras and house personas BEOs to ensure that all information is accurate.Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOas) at the beginning of each shift to ensure room is set as contracted.Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation methods for each item to be provided.Be in communication with the Banquet Captain/ Lead Server in regard to any special needs.Set tables, glassware, flatware and silver ware per dining rules and specification.Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by the policies/procedures regarding the service of food and beverage.Maintain a proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling guestas needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.Assist Lead Banquet Server in setting up/breaking down buffet or other special food service tables, stations, and equipmentDESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High school education or equivalent experience.Experience: Six months hotel or convention center -banquet food/beverage services environmentSkills and Abilities: Able to read, speak and understand English. Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs. Stand continuously for long periods of time.
